24th Annivesary

It is Times like these, I sit down under some shade, Take out pieces of paper and pen, Then travel back memory lane, To a time when I had a glimpse of life, It was blur but d future looked ripe, It’s that time again Now under this shade, They say I have come of age, It is my time 2 enter a new stage, Make new performance, It’s a new chance, a new glance. When that clock ticks at mid-night, I will b filled with new might, I will be granted new sight,                                                                    2 walk another yearly journey. Today I will blow 24 candles, one by one as they go out, That’s the kind of life in the past, Thanking mama and papa 4 this chance to say Happy B.day, To God is the glory for giving me this breath.

Love for Mama

Every moment I sit down to write, this one to my queen I dedicate, Coming from your little child, filled with love and respect, Mama you are my beloved, and forever I will never forget, Today I pick this magic pen, trek down memory lane, Checking on the days as a toddler, I see you guiding ma steps, Times have really changed; they say I have come of age, All the same Mama, U r still there 2 love and encourage, They chant on strength of a woman, Mama it is all about you, The simple things you do, Mama brought me this far too, From Mondays to the weekends, I had every need in abundance You showed me how to cover the distances’, learning to walk you held my hand… Till this day on a stronger foundation I stand, Because of your unconditional love, You are the one and only, for this to the world I will tell, Every second, minute, hour and every day, until the last stanza ends .....To b Cont....

Love Stressful Journey

On my way out My mind takes a stroll Visiting all the memories I saved Some are blur others very clear I single out the brightest These are the times we shared Me and you just the two of us From the day we met To the time we parted ways The best times of joy The moments cut short with sadness You were high in the sky Beautiful as the evening star Was on the ground you pulled me up Riding on the silver clouds pure with happiness Thoughts of loneliness we left behind For true love we did find New love tender and warm Until jealousy walked in Trading our glee with sorrow Lending a helping hand in our efforts to be one Separating the hearts bounded by trust Destroying the beauty you saw in me Enslaving our minds with uttermost hatred Thoughts of you make me regret I never knew what I had until you were taken

Love for Kenya

I met this lady on my way She asked me for a favor in a single way Asked me to write her a rap song But recently I feel something is wrong Because I can’t finish this song If given the microphone, I can’t let go Hold it close to my mouth till the last line drops She only wanted it 4 her son To bring peace in her house Then I remembered of Kenya Where peace dint last 4eva Because the politicians began to feel bit clever En took the vote for their game But this is not the time to lay blames I got this microphone the crowds give me some psyche I have to preach it in white To brothers, sisters and everyone alike Let’s join hands it’s time we play life And 4get those hatred games From the east to the west Together as one This is a message of love.....................
